[Honeybeer Inn, Upper Hallway]
Several doorways open off the hallway, however, only two are currently used as guest rooms. The chandelier hangs low enough that you must duck your head or risk being splattered with hot tallow should you bump into it. A slightly worn tapestry carpet has been tacked down the center of the hallway. You also see a roguish forest spirit that is flying around, a white oak door, a broad wooden staircase and a dark maoral door.

A roguish forest spirit says, "Strange days, these are."

A roguish forest spirit asks, "Wouldn't you agree?"

Meeshach raspily says, "Yes."

Meeshach raspily says, "Very strange."

Speaking raspily to a roguish forest spirit, Meeshach says, "Can I help you."

A roguish forest spirit exclaims, "Days when any upstart loony from the spirit world can form an army and take on the population of a city such as this!"

A roguish forest spirit chuckles.

Meeshach raspily says, "Really."

Meeshach raspily asks, "Do you know this upstart loony personally?"

A roguish forest spirit exclaims, "Thankfully not!"

Meeshach raspily asks, "What do you think he wants?"

Meeshach raspily says, "I've challenged him directly, but he's too much of a coward to face me."

Meeshach [General]: "Xiandra upstairs please."

A roguish forest spirit says, "I think he wants to cause destruction and mayhem."

A roguish forest spirit shrugs.

A distressed tree spirit floats in, following you.

Meeshach raspily asks, "Just in Icemule?"

You raise an eyebrow in Meeshach's direction.

A roguish forest spirit says, "Sometimes the motives of we spirits are little more than infantile desires."

Meeshach raspily asks, "But you are sure he's a spirit?"

A roguish forest spirit asks, "Icemule may be only the beginning. It depends on how this thing plays out, doesn't it?"

A roguish forest spirit grins.

Meeshach raspily says, "I suppose so."

A roguish forest spirit says, "He's a spirit, all right. That's why we spirits hear so many of the whispers."

Meeshach raspily says, "I see."

Meeshach raspily asks, "Was he once a member of the Council of 10?"

Meeshach raspily asks, "Or just some random spirit come into being?"

A roguish forest spirit says, "I think the latter. When you're angry enough, as a spirit, strange things can happen."

Meeshach raspily says, "I see."

Meeshach raspily asks, "Is he the spirit of a deceased person??"

Meeshach cocks his head.

A roguish forest spirit asks, "And what better thing for a bitter, lost soul to do than destroy the happiness of a decent town?"

You fold your arms, grasping your waist.

Meeshach raspily says, "I agree."

Meeshach raspily says, "So he's a bitter lost soul."

Meeshach raspily asks, "Do you know what he is bitter about?"

A roguish forest spirit exclaims, "No clue!"

A roguish forest spirit laughs.

A roguish forest spirit asks, "With all the lovely ladies there are to look at here, what's to be bitter about?"

You try hard not to grin.

Meeshach raspily asks, "So he's perhaps love lorn?"

Meeshach grins.

A roguish forest spirit snickers.

Meeshach raspily asks, "Are you the one that put the dreams in Taiele's head?"

A roguish forest spirit says, "Goodness, no! That lass has a connection to the spirit world forged by a very few."

Meeshach raspily says, "I see."

Meeshach raspily asks, "She was born for this in other words?"

A roguish forest spirit says, "Prophecy, I think."

Meeshach nods.

Meeshach raspily asks, "What prophecy would that be?"

A roguish forest spirit yawns.

A roguish forest spirit says, "I'd wager she'll have several over her life time."

Meeshach raspily says, "Well, I was thinking of this one in particular."

Meeshach chuckles.

Meeshach raspily says, "I'm not in a rush to face other prophecies just yet."

Nilandia blinks at a distressed tree spirit.

A roguish forest spirit giggles madly.

Speaking in Sylvankind, Nilandia asks, "Whisper?"

A roguish forest spirit asks, "Hm?"

Meeshach raspily asks, "So you can hear our Whispers?"

Meeshach raspily asks, "Or our enemy can?"

Speaking in Sylvankind, you say, "That is the name of her spirit."

Speaking in Sylvankind, Nilandia says, "Nothing. I'm just surprised you're speaking to others now."

A roguish forest spirit asks, "Shouldn't I?"

A roguish forest spirit looks crestfallen

Speaking in Sylvankind, Nilandia says, "Well, that is your choice. You usually don't."

Meeshach raspily says, "He is a playful spirit I think."

Meeshach grins at a distressed tree spirit.

Meeshach grins at a roguish forest spirit.

You ponder the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

Meeshach raspily asks, "What part does Xiandrena play in all this?"

A roguish forest spirit asks, "Hm, well, this is important... otherwise what in Jaston's name are we hanging around here for?"

A roguish forest spirit pokes Nilandia.

Nilandia laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.

Speaking in Sylvankind, Nilandia says, "True, true."

Speaking to Meeshach, you say, "I'm just watching the door downstairs to keep you two safe."

Speaking in Sylvankind, Nilandia asks, "Whisper, do you know how we can keep her safe?"

Meeshach raspily asks, "Spirit do you know who is involved in this prophecy?"

A roguish forest spirit exclaims, "That collar coming off was a lucky break, forgive my pun!"

Meeshach adopts an agreeable expression.

Nilandia ponders.

You furrow your brow, probably adding a wrinkle or two in the process.

Meeshach raspily says, "He planned it didn't he."

Speaking in Sylvankind, Nilandia says, "He seemed to give up on her much too quickly to my mind."

Meeshach raspily says, "It wasn't a lucky break."

You agree with Nilandia.

A roguish forest spirit exclaims, "Perhaps he plans to use her to sow more discord. People certainly are divided about what to do with her!"

Meeshach raspily says, "True."

A roguish forest spirit says, "Burn her alive, keep her safe, torture the answers out of her, send her packing...."

A roguish forest spirit exclaims, "So many options!"

Your face goes blank.

Nilandia nods slowly.

Meeshach raspily asks, "Who in town wishes to harm her?"

Speaking in Sylvankind, Nilandia says, "Do you think she's trustworthy? I've tried to contact her mind, but she didn't respond."

A roguish forest spirit says, "That I don't know."

Nilandia ponders.

A roguish forest spirit says, "Hearing whispers in my world is easy, understanding the thoughts of mortals can be more difficult."

A roguish forest spirit yawns.
