[Screech Owl Table]
Placed closest to the stage, it is sometimes difficult to hear your own conversation without raising your voice. Many a guest has left this particular table after enjoying the show, unable to determine why their throat is sore. You also see a moldy peach cupcake and a bent cup.
Obvious exits: out.

You focus on projecting your thoughts...
I'm at a pub table, Valicar. I can sing for ye.

You see Valicar and his group including Rayzinark approach the table.
Lord Valicar and his group arrive at your table.

Valicar bows to you.

Rayzinark smiles at you.

You say, "Greetings."

You smile.

Valicar says, "Beautiful as always, Chutnee"

Valicar smiles.

You wink.

You ask, "what did ye need sung up?"

Valicar asks, "would you sing to this for me?"

You cock your head.

Valicar offers you a long fiery red spine. Enter ACCEPT to accept the offer or DECLINE to decline it. The offer will expire in 30 seconds.
You accept Valicar's offer and are now holding a long fiery red spine.

You ask, "Oh, an urchin spine, heh?"

You tap a long fiery red spine.

Valicar asks, "know anything about them?"

Valicar says, "very hard to skin"

Valicar says, "and they look odd"

You say, "Need a blunt weapon to skin them."

Valicar whispers, "skinned with a falchion"

You say, "I believe just a skin, no magical properties, but I'll check it."

Valicar nods.

You say, "If ye skin with a blunt is easier."

You chuckle.

Valicar nods.

You say, "My mother does them with grahnk clubs."

You say, "Works like a charm."

Valicar says, "be great if they were arrows with poison"

You sing:
"Spine so long and fiery red
Do not this bardess be misled..."

You peer at the tiny spine in your hand, wondering if it is worth the trouble. Nonetheless, you begin to sing. A vague image of a massive iron vat comes to you, but quickly disperses.

Rayzinark says, "Not worth much fer something so difficult to skin."

Valicar nods to Rayzinark.

You sing:
"Spine so long and fiery red
Do not this bardess be misled
Therefore tell me all yer tale..."

You restart your verse, once again concentrating on the spine. As you try to find proper words, you sense something vile coming from the item in your hand. Visions of vipers and arachnids fill your thoughts.

You exclaim, "Goodness, has a loresong!"

Valicar says, "Sanae has a tremendous talent at skinning and she misses"

You say, "Is wonderful."

Valicar says, "hmm"

Valicar asks, "really?"

You say, "Let me repeat here..."

Valicar beams!

You say, "A vague image of a massive iron vat comes to you, but quickly disperses"

Rayzinark says, "How very curious."

You say, "As you try to find proper words, you sense something vile coming from the item in your hand. Visions of vipers and arachnids fill your thoughts."

You say, "Let me get the rest..."

Rayzinark says, "Poison."

Valicar nods.

You sing:
"Spine so long and fiery red
Do not this bardess be misled
Therefore tell me all yer tale
As I do with persistence prevail..."

Your song continues, the visions intensifying. Your mind wanders into a twisted laboratory, filled with glass vials and caged animals. As you enter the second verse of your song, you sense eyes upon you, breaking your concentration.

You say, "Your song continues, the visions intensifying. Your mind wanders into a twisted laboratory, filled with glass vials and caged animals. As you enter the second verse of your song, you sense eyes upon you, breaking your concentration."

Rayzinark blinks.

You sing:
"Spine so long and fiery red
Do not this bardess be misled
Therefore tell me all yer tale
As I do with persistence prevail
Let every word known spoken be..."

You find an appropriate last verse and sing, your words crystal in tone and harmony. The spine begins to wobble in your hand, then begins to stand on end. As the tip of the spine begins to put pressure on your palm, you sense a dark aura about the spine. Quickly, you end your song, carefully handling the spine as you do so.

You say, "The spine begins to wobble in your hand, then begins to stand on end. As the tip of the spine begins to put pressure on your palm, you sense a dark aura about the spine. Quickly, you end your song, carefully handling the spine as you do so."

You blink.

You exclaim, "Quite a loresong!"

Valicar says, "yeah"

You say, "But no poison."

You say, "Dark magic."

You nod.

Valicar nods.

You offer your fiery red spine to Valicar, who has 30 seconds to accept the offer. Type CANCEL to prematurely cancel the offer. Valicar has accepted your offer and is now holding a long fiery red spine.

You exclaim, "Will teach me not to sing to everything!"

Rayzinark starts chuckling at you!

Valicar chuckles.

You exclaim, "That song is spectacular!"

You say, "Excuse the bardic instincts."

You blush a delicate shade of pink.
