The bustling town comes together in this square. Halflings dressed in varying fashions stand about, some chattering happily, others reclining on cloaks laid on the ground. One ancient halfling leans against the base of the large ice statue of a mule, snoring blissfully. A feeling of community pervades the area, putting you immediately at ease. You also see the Frugus disk, the Radoria disk, the Drilor disk and a carved ice bench with some stuff on it.

A silvery sheen from something up north catches your eye over the heads of the crowds. No matter the time of day or night, this stretch of road always seems busy. A young halfling girl, dressed in the livery of the Silvermule Gaming Hall, rushes past you to deliver a message.

You cock your head at Galenok.
You say, "I am rather depressed myself tonight."

[The Nightowl Pub, Lounge]
Waitresses wearing feathered headdresses fashioned like the heads of owls work the room swiftly and quietly, trying not to interrupt the guests or the stage act. Although the tables are set relatively close together, the darkness creates a feeling of intimacy. After their number, the chorus glides off the stage and all but disappears behind a dark curtain. You also see a South Gate guard and a steep staircase.

[Owlet Table]
Etched into the table top are what appear to be hundreds of tiny owls emerging from their eggs. The whole table is topped by a sheet of thick glass which is bolted down, to prevent further carving into the table's surface. Each chairseat is shaped like a cream-colored oval, giving the surreal impression that the patrons are also emerging from eggs. You also see a dingy violet blouse.

Galenok says, "I know nearly nothing as to what you and yer fellow comrades are doing in reference to yer quest"
Galenok says, "But it disgusts me when the worshipers of the dark gods fear not the light of day and discuss what they do openly"

Galenok says, "I barely know any of you but you seem to be the most in control of yer senses"

Galenok shrugs.
Galenok says, "I'm not trying to stir things up but she did lead you from Voln and then the others showed up to desecrate the altar"
Galenok says, "maybe they do that every night"
Galenok shrugs.
Galenok says, "I kinda doubt it"
Galenok says, "maybe they liked teasing me because I was there"

The lower walls are tinted plaster over stone, as evidenced by the chips at the exact level of the chair backs. The bar itself is worn, and the low brass footrest is polished only by the shoes of the many customers who have cradled a pint while leaning against the bar. You also see a polished oak menu.
